My name is Lyn-Louise Buckingham and I am the founder and principal of Buckingham School of Disco Dancing. I have been dancing since the age of seven, performing dance in many musicals and shows located in Aylesbury, Chesham and Her Majestys Theatre London and this is where my love for dancing started.
I began taking examinations in Disco/Freestyle at the age of 10 years old and gradually worked my way up to become an Associate dance teacher in 1998 with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. It was from here that I decided to start my dance school - Buckingham School of Disco Dancing. It's a bit of a mouthful, so bsodd for short!
As a qualified teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the International Dance Teachers Association, I am fully insured, CRB checked (my credentials can be viewed at class) and able to offer everyone the opportunity to yearly examinations with these associations, of which I am pleased to say that I have had 100% pass rates over the years.
BSODD students also have the opportunity to enter competitions if they wish and they always enjoy performing at local festivals and pantomimes, a chance for parents to see what their children have been up to.
